Anthony Ashmore, visiting assistant professor of physics, was interviewed for an article in , “AI Starts to Sift Through String Theory’s Near-Endless Possibilities,” about using AI and machine learning to get testable predictions from string theory models of particle physics.

Ruben Castillo, assistant professor of printmaking, presented their research in a talk titled "Queer Contact Across Archives" at the Southern Graphics Council International 2024 printmaking conference, “Verified by Proof.” Castillo’s presentation was part of the panel "Reading Between the Lines: Notes from the Archive."

Evan Mack, senior teaching professor of music, founded a nonprofit, We Are Instrumental, that was recently in conjunction with three other nonprofit partners. The grant will be used to create the Adirondack Performing Arts Center as part of New York’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative in Ticonderoga.

June Paul, assistant professor of social work, co-authored an article, “We should be treated like we are somebody: Building supportive relationships with LGBTQ Foster Youth," that was published in and an article, "Increasing resilience among LGBTQ youth: The protective role of natural mentors," that was published in .

Pushkala Prasad, Zankel Chair and professor of management, was interviewed on otherness thinking in hiring and promotion practices for a book, “Diversity and Difference when Recruiting: A (Post-Colonial) Critical Engagement,” by Hugo Gaggiotti and Marguerite Weber.

Jess Sullivan, professor of psychology, has been named a . During the fellowship, she will work at the New York State Office of Child and Family Services in the Division of Childcare, where she will be developing research-based tools for defining high quality childcare.
